Our company was founded in 1948 by Bernard A. Maloney, B.C.O., F.A.S.O. Mr. Maloney received his initial training at the Medical School at the University of Maryland in Baltimore.

Mr. Maloney held the position of Chief of the Prosthetics Clinic at the Portland Veteran’s Hospital in Portland, Oregon for nearly 30 years. During this same time he was Director of the Prosthetics Clinic at the University of Oregon Health Sciences Center.

Mr. Maloney retired from those locations and initiated the Prosthetic Clinic at Good Samaritan Hospital in downtown Portland, Oregon. Mr. Maloney pursued private practice in 1976.

His daughter Maureen joined him in the business in 1976.
